Bio
Rick Derman is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist based in Germany. Since 1995 he has given over 1,200 solo, duo and band concerts across Europe. His cover program of well-known hits ranges from the 50s to the 90s. His own material consists of melodic rock songs with thoughtful lyrics. Rick's last solo album was "All Alone" released in 2020. He is currently recording a new album.
Rick began his professional career in 1988 as a songwriter, producer and studio musician for Stuart Cohn Music. He had the opportunity to record in New York's top studios with Rick Derringer and members of the Joe Cocker Band. He later recorded with band members from Meatloaf, Johnny Winter and Grace Slick. This resulted in “Fool For Love”, his debut album.

2004- Opened for Katy Melua in Vienna as solo artist. .Booking: Eric Zawinul
2005- The Punch perform “Eileen” on FAB TV, Berlin.
2009-2010 Various German dates with Clann Company as lead guitarist.
1995 -2014 Various dates in Germany and Denmark with The Cry.
2011-2016 Various German and Swiss dates with Concept DD and Solo
