Rick Derman is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist based in Germany. Since 1995, he has performed over 1,200 concerts across Europe, both solo and with bands. His repertoire spans well-known hits from the 1950s to the 1990s, alongside his own melodic rock songs with thoughtful, memorable lyrics. His most recent solo album, All Alone, was released in 2020, and he will start recording a new album in 2026.

Rick began his professional career in 1988 as a songwriter, producer, and studio musician for Stuart Cohn Music. He recorded in New York’s top studios with Rick Derringer and members of the Joe Cocker Band, and later collaborated with musicians who had worked with Meatloaf, Johnny Winter, and Grace Slick. These sessions resulted in his debut album, Fool For Love.
