Rick Derman is a German-American guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter with over 1,200 live performances across Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland. Since 1995, he has delivered engaging shows both solo and with bands, blending melodic rock, rock/pop, and adult alternative. Rick combines well-known hits from the 1950s–1990s with his own original songs, featuring memorable lyrics, strong hooks, and polished arrangements. He released his solo albums Pipe Dreams in 2012 and All Alone in 2020, and is preparing new recordings for 2026.

Rick began his professional career in 1988 as a songwriter, producer, and studio musician for Stuart Cohn Music in New York. He has recorded with Rick Derringer, members of the Joe Cocker Band, and collaborators who worked with Meatloaf, Johnny Winter, and Grace Slick. These sessions culminated in his debut album, Fool For Love, showcasing his guitar skills, vocal versatility, and commercial songwriting.

Known for his reliability and fast integration into live and studio environments, Rick offers fully produced, release-ready original songs, as well as guitar, backing vocals, and occasional lead vocals for touring bands. He excels in co-writing, live arrangement, and studio production, providing clean stems and professional support for recordings and performances.
